Lighting Solutions

ConserVisions knowledge-base of the most current lighting products & technologies means your facility maximizes its savings per lumen

About: ConserVision Energy’s Lighting Efficiency program is designed to cater to the projects’ commercial or industrial application, placing emphasis on results rather than products.

Approach:  Upon the completion of a site visit by a Certified Energy Manager (CEM®), our lighting group will run lighting analysis & building simulations that make sure that the new system will adhere to ASHRAE 90.1 & Illumination Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) standards & recommended practices.  Both of these groups are the authorities in their industries, with continuing research into what makes for improved energy efficiency & lighting practices.

ConserVision uses the only independent lighting analysis software on the market, AGi32, to run their lighting calculations in-house.  These calculations are an assurance factor for the client that their new system will produce equal or improved light levels, and they show us that we’re using the best product for the application.  In conjunction with our lighting analysis, ConserVision also uses OpenStudio & EnergyPlus, software packages that were developed in a collaborative effort between the U.S. Department of Energy (DoE) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), to simulate the effects the new lighting system will have on other parts of your facility like HVAC, daylight factors, and glare.

Benefits:  While our years of experience in the lighting industry gave us the opportunity to build solid relationships with many manufacturers, ConserVision is a third party solutions provider free of obligations to any manufacturer, giving you the peace of mind that the products specified are not done so for a sales quota, but are the best products for your unique projects lighting needs.  Our goal is simple: to reduce your lighting systems energy consumption and associated costs, while matching or improving your existing light levels.
